This might be completely normal but I’m a first time chick mom so I have no idea 😂 This is my 4 week old BO feathers. Looks like dirt. Do I need to clean it off? No idea how it got that way. The only thought is one time I put some mash in there and maybe it went crazy and got it on its feathers...

First time chicken mom. Long story short… had 3 silkie chicks die all within a few days of each other over a week timeframe. Not any symptoms besides lethargy from them, but I was worried the flock maybe had coccidiosis. So I mixed the correct amount of corid with water and left it for them...
