    White Coturnix don't breed?

I just googled how to tell the difference between fertile/infertile yolks. All eggs have the little white dot but only the fertile ones will have a "bullseye" looking dot. I cracked open 4 of the white quails' eggs, none are fertile.

    White Coturnix don't breed?

I stated above that we have put eggs from the white birds in the incubator and the only ones that don't hatch are the eggs from the white ones but all the eggs from the other birds hatch fine.

    Quail Feed

I use chick starter! Everyone suggested the gamebird feed but the price is crazy, and one day at the feed store I decided to put the chick starter bag and gamebird bag next to each other and compare ingredients/analysis...pretty much the same thing!

I see all of the other breeders on here that have had success breeding the white (a&m) coturnix with no problems, but mine don't mate! We had some males and females, the roos would crow but none would mate with the females, and none of my other colored coturnix males will even try to mate the...

    Help needed with quail dying

Sorry I can't help but I wanted to add that I also sometimes come across dead adults for no reason at all! We use heat lamps and cover the coop with a tarp at night so they aren't cold. We feed regular chick crumbles (nonmedicated, not gamebird food either).
