Yep! That's pretty much what the one looked like.

At the time, I was unable to get a picture due to processing. I can only describe. Darker spots with white around it on the liver and foamy stuff near the rib cage.

While processing some of our broilers, we noticed the intestines had worms(possible round worms?) Are these birds still consumable?

Thank you for the the response! Our last batch, and very first, we rested for only two days. I just wanted to make sure three days in an ice bath would be okay.

Is three days too long after processing your chicken to let the rigor mortis pass?

Update: All the TSC chicks are HENS! Yay! The fifth silkie IS a ROOSTER!

I know TWO for sure are hens. One of the starlights has started to lay and our rooster has mated with one of the RIR
