    Limping roo

Yesterday I noticed my rooster limping. The foot shown is the one he is favoring. It doesn't seem to look like bumblefoot, does it? Any advice? Maybe he stepped on a thorny blackberry bush?

Okay guys. I got a close up of Parsnip this morning. Do we still think pullet?

Hen or Roo (Easter Egger, 12 weeks old)

I have heard sad attempts at crowing when inside my house, but there are 3 confirmed roos so without seeing them there's no telling who it was lol. I'm glad to know that several folks think Parsnip is a hen. She's my favorite and I'm hoping for bright blue eggs since her legs are bright blue. 🤞

Experts, what do you think? Hen or roo? I have some other roo ee's who have pronounced hackle and saddle feathers than Parsnip here, but Parsnip is larger than the hens. Thanks in advance, Allyson

    Easter Egger: Cockerel or Pullet?

This guy was sold to me as a day old Easter Egger chick. His comb is WAY bigger than all the other EE's that came with him. Can you tell me if he may not be an EE, and if so, what breed he may be? His legs are yellow which makes me think he is not EE. Side note: I know EE is not a breed and...
