https://imgur.com/a/AkutJEaster egger chick. Labeled pullet but I'm questioning if it's a rooster. It doesn't have that rooster attitude, but it did take a week longer to get tail feathers. About 5 weeks old.
Oh my! I live in HideAway Hills too! On Daisy Dr. I was so worried about them that I brought them back inside yesterday morning. They are back in the brooder in the office.
Hello everyone. I'm new to being a duck caretaker. I bought chicks (for the first time) a couple of weeks ago and while I was picking up some feed noticed the regaining ducklings were 75% off. So $1.20 per bird. They were so cute I thought, "why not". I bought one White Pekin and one mystery...
Hi, I'm from SD, over by Rapid City. I just bought my first chicks in April from Runnings. Can't wait for them to mature so that I can start enjoying some fresh eggs.

I am brand new to chickens!
I bought 6 various breeds last weekend. After watching them all week, I believe that 2 might be roosters due to slow feathering, no tail feathers yet, and attitude. My little Production Red died, from failure to thrive. Today I went and picked up 3 Ameraucanas & a new...
