I got it at tractor supply. Someone told me that “Hatchery quality” silkies don’t always have black skin. 🤷‍♀️ Either way, I’ll be a happy camper if it mostly resembles a silkie. I’ve wanted one! I’ll be even happier if it’s a pullet! 😅

That’s what I was thinking too. But silkies have black skin and black beaks and legs, and this little One doesn’t. But I am thinking it could be Silkie mix. About the only thing it looks like. 🤔

I don’t think. The feather texture is super unique. Not like any of my other chickens. Def seems a little like the Silkie feathering. Alothough I had never heard of that type. Super cool Looking!

Pictures? Sometimes we refer to this as failure to thrive. But it doesn’t mean she won’t grow and end up fine. Sometimes just at a much slower rate. Pictures or video would help.

I’m seeing 4 cockerels. In waddle/comb comparison. Especially considering the clear Pullets in this pic.

I’m not so disappointed if it is. It was straight run so I figured I was in for a few. Just curious. 😊. Thank you. I only got 2 cockerels out of 4 so that’s a pretty good margin for straight run. 😂😅

I agree, I have never had a chicken actually learn it’s name. So you name it what you’d like! 😊.
