    Please help. I have a baby chick that was attacked by a dog. I think we saved it in time but his leg just sticks straight out. Is ot broken and if so is there anything we can do?

    We talked to the neighbor and he was very appologetic and is going to buy us some more chickens. We did however put an electric fence around the pen so that the predators on the outside will feel the shock, but not the chickens on the inside. I'm sure the dog will be very surprised the next...

    I use Tractor Supply. It is about the only place here that I can buy chicken supplies. I like it and they are really friendly and helpful. One lady even brought me some penicilin for my injured chick along with the shots to give them with and did not charge me a dime for it out of her own...

    I unfortunately have had 3 Chickens to get killed by my next door neighbors dog. 2 others have been injured. This is going on 3 weeks now. One of the chickens that was injured will look fine one day and the next day like he/she can barely move. I don't know if it is a hen or a rooster yet...
