I ordered some pin-less peepers last night, can't wait to get them. Maybe my babies will get their feathers back. Will they still be able to jump up on the roost if they can't see anything above them?

I don't have a rooster, i got rid of him because he jumped on me everytime I went in the coop. He has been gone for a while now.

I went into lockdown last night, and my temp dropped to 97 overnight, it was only at 97 for about 8 hours, so i bumped the temp up some and it went to 104 for about an hour. Did I kill the chickens? or will they be ok?

My first egg hatched this morning 10:10! I watched it hatch! It was so exciting! First time to incubate!!! Yay!!!

Electricity is back on and the eggs back inside. Temp and humidity is back right also. Man that was stressful hour!!! Thanks everyone for your help!!

They are still alive at this point, just saw some of the eggs rocking and not from me moving them around so much, lol. The temp is back up to 101.
