Poor baby.. can she see or is that just in the pic it looks funny.

I'm so still concerned for mine! Yours is nothing compared to my poor bird.. As a general rule, I say if she's eating and drinking on her own they're okay..... idk if mines recogonizing me more and as soon as she sees me gets excited as I'm always with food but mine seems more hungry... idk...

It will be hard to cull her if you fall in love with a special chicken.. they are special for a reason.. mine is soo sweet, lets me pet her and pick her up easy.

My friends going to give me his scale to weigh her...

Thank you, I feel very blessed! Really very lucky to have happend upon her at the place and time I did. I saw her right away.. but I was there for other chickens.... a ways from where she was kept. On the way out the lady said I have one you can have if you want... and she was the one... the one...

Thanks, I feel better now after really watching her...I visited with her again just a while ago and she had hopped up IN the feeder and was going to town showing me she could eat fine... she let me pet her too while eating again ... so sweet..

I've never love another chicken like this one. She's a darling... Lets me pick her up like a cat... she lets me pet her like no other chicken I've ever witnesses! ... She is a very special hen that's for sure. Her eyes are kinda amber too.. at first I though blue.... beautiful eyes! & she will...

Thanks, I just went out there because that other poster freaked me out... I though maybe she can't eat! BUT I went out there just now, 6am and offered her food, she ate great! then I gave her water, she drank great too! I think as long as the chicken can eat and drink on their own that they are...

Just went out there, it's six in the am... I got some food and watched her eat, she ate... was full stopped eating after about ten minutes... I kept the others from coming over and knocking her of it... she ate right in between my feet from a deep trough I found... a juice bottle fashioned into...

Someone on here said to kill her but she's by far the sweetest chicken I've ever owned. We were just given her ... I've never encountered a cross beaked chicken before. Is it possible she'll be okay like this? I was told she'd be fine by the lady who gave her to us...

I just adopted her, she apparently had been surviving and living fine without being tube fed.... I don't like the idea of cutting it at all! I just read people do and have never came across a situation like this, I really love this girl though, she is so friendly. I will not cull her at all...
