So today is the 4th day of my broody hen sitting on an egg. I went in to the coop this morning to find her egg cold. She's been sitting on it some of today, but last night's temps were in the low 60's. Is there any chance the chick in the egg is going to survive? Thanks in advance!

I've never had any experience with chicks, but am hoping to get a few from an online hatchery. The only issue is I don't know which one to use! All the reliable ones (like McMurray's) are very far away, and I don't want to risk the chick's health just so I can get a good deal. Thanks everybody!

I may get this hen, but am unsure of what breed this is. It's definitely a bantam mix, but I don't know any more than that. Any ideas? Thanks! :)
