    Is it better to get a bin for composting to keep chickens out or build something they can scratch around the pile?

    honestly I just googled "how much square feet of chicken coop per chicken" or something like that and the first answer was 2-3sq. feet..... I have 16 in my 8x10 shed now and things do seem tight so I think ill be sticking to the lower number thanks!

    So they say anywhere between 2-3sq. feet of coop per chicken??? well I bought a 8x10 shed/coop and by that math is 80sq. feet 2sqft/per chicken = 40 chickens 3sqft/per chicken = 26 chickens 26-40 chickens???!!     Chickens not using roost???

    So I built a nice 4 Tiered chicken roost out of 2x4s.... my "chicken coop" is an old gutted out camper.... my chickens have decided to start roosting in the cupboards instead.... like 10 of them packed into a small 2'x2' square cupboard... should I just let them be?? they look cramped lol

    What are the legal laws if I were to sell eggs online for consumption not hatching purposes??? Also about how much in shipping would I have to pay to ship say 1 dozen eggs? would I have to ship with an ice pack??? Just an idea popped into my head and looking at different angles

    awesome guys thanks for the info!!! as there getting older I believe one maaaaayyyyy be a rooster ... which the hatchery said "all females".... anywhoo..... say hypothetically, I have a rooster and 3 hens of EE's.... what are my options??? I have a 150' x 30' run with a 26' camper for a coop...

    So are there different Americana breeds like golden laced or rocks?? Ordered the rainbow package from a Hatchery and got 3 different looking Americanas .. are they all just a random color or are there specific sub breeds??

    I was afraid of that... I'm in a catch 22... I love all my roosters... each one is unique to me.... but I don't have the room for more hens.... THE DILEMMA! !! :/ but I have my least favorite 2 roosters picked out... a black australorp (turkey cuz he's freaking tall!) And a barred rock...
