Thanks for the good advice. The chicken is still limping this morning, I cant see anything wrong but i cant get too close. She is the one chicken we have that seems to be scared of us and we cant pick her up to examine her closely.

I am getting ready for my first flock. I have fond memories of taking care of chickens when I was a child and now I finally have the space to have my own. I was thinking about getting 6 New Hampshire Reds and 6 Barred Rocks. Does anyone have these breeds together? I dont want any problems...
