Thank you for your reply. I got them from a local breeder. The only symptom I notice is the eyes, none of the other symtoms you mentioned. I will try your suggestions, thanks again!

I have a few chicks, silkies about 3.5-4weeks old, that have swollen eyes. One has eyes that are swollen shut and one has an eye that is just a little swollen. I have done some research and at first I was thinking Corzya, but they do not have any of the other symptoms. Any ideas what this might...

Thank you for responding! Im not sure, what is the benefit to keeping the colors pure versus not..by this do you mean breeding the same colors todether? Right now I will be just breeding for pet quality (I think thats the right term)...not looking for show quality yet since Im just starting...

Hello...I'm new to BYC, just signed up and excited to learn and get to know more about chickens. I have had laying hens for awhile but we just started raising silkies and are just about to start breeding them :) Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated! Thanks!!
