Legs are yellow. The combs are what is throwing me off.

Ok so I got two hens from my local feed store. Was told they were dominiques but after reading about them I am having doubts. I am starting to think barred rock or plymoth. Any ideas? i dont care what they are as long as they are healthy. Thanks in advanced

I have two 4 week old chicks that i am curious about. I bought a mix bunch of chicks from a back yard flock. Was told EE & BO and a mix of the two. So what color you think they are and are they considered splash? any help would be great.

I was told some of these chicks were pure BO. How do i tell the BO's from the mixes. The only way i know is the color of the legs. My two EE's have slate legs, some of the others have a slate tinted yellow, and the rest have bright yellow legs. Thanks! i am learning so much!

Thank you so much. That also explains why i was told my two chicks are EE's. I got them from my neighbors small breeding flock.They have slate legs but are black and white and black and red. I finally got the pics fixed. Thanks for being so nice about it
