That is true...but I'm really not all that interested in the profit, you know? I just desperately need to , sadly, get rid of this handsome fella.
I honestly was going to put these guys up for $5 each, but seeing as how roosters tend to do so badly in the selling industry, I am willing to give these guys away for free. I have FIVE of them. I got them from McMurrey...as a blind set , the sex not determined. So, I ended up with 5 roosters...
5 month old Ameraucana/Araucana Rooster/Cockeral for sale...I had gotten him from McMurrey hatchery. I ordered a bunch of female Ameraucana babies but he came out to be a male soo now I have 8 roosters running around my yard since most of the bantams I got turned out to be males.

My one rooster had the funky, broken looking toe problem going on. But now, his one leg is sticking out weird i guess..so he walks really funny..sort of waddles around it is soo sad to watch..is there anything i can do to help my poor chicken? I thought of maybe trying to put band aides on his...
I noticed today that one of my young bantam brahma chicks wasn't looking too well. She was just standing there, all kind of 'floofed' out. Her wing feathers aren't that tight against her body..they seem to kind of sag downwards a bit. And it looks like she is breathing heavily, for you can tell...

Ooooh how pretty! Actually, just today I got a light blue egg ^.^ I was so happy! I knew that the previous owner had gotten that olive green and the light blue as well, but when I got them I always had the olive green. Well, except for today; I got a green and a light blue ^_^ I love...
I have two Ameraucanas, I know that they lay different colored eggs like blue and green, but I just get green eggs. Is there a way to get them to lay different colors? Like blue for a change? Or does it just depend on the chicken? Or the enivornment; the season? Just curious...thanks!
Chickens can most definetly eat table scraps, as long as they are not spoiled or rotten. Never feed your chickens something that you yourself would not eat. There's a treat list in the forum you can use that is very helpful.
A pullet is a chicken, actually a hen that is under a year old. Once...
Different breeds can definetly get along with one another. I just wouldn't' put some tiny breed of chicken, like those quail ones, with some really big chicken like a road island red. I have bantam Brahmas with two Americans, and they get along wonderfully!
I kinda have the same situation...I had ordered some chickens from MM and there's one definate rooster...he's some egyption something can't remember, i love him to death and would hate to part with him. Also, he has crooked/twisted looking toes that look all busted up, and no one would ever want...
This treat chart is wonderful! Thank you so much for putting time into creating this and sharing it with all of us! :3 I just love to give my little babies treats~
