I'm sorry I wasn't more clear. Dottie is definitely a little girl. My chicks are more like 15 weeks old now but my roo had a very pronounced comb even at 7 weeks.
I need to add 6 chicks to my flock and would rather use a breeder than Mt. Healthy Hatchery. How do I go about finding a reliable breeder? I'm in Waynesville but will will travel for good healthy chicks. I need good egg layers.
I have an umbrella dryer and I can hang everything on it, but we have a double bed. I am sure sheets from a larger bed wouldn't fit. Its easy to fold up and pull out of the ground to cut the grass and in the winter.
