Yes. I'm near Pittsburgh and don't want to ship. I just want them to go to someone who can use the eggs and really likes ducks. I love watching them but would rather focus on my chickens.
I have 4 ducks who need a new home. The Khaki Campbells I got from Murano Farms in May 2011 and the hens are laying very very very (did I say very?) well. The mix hen is about 4 years old and she does lay very well too. She is currently taking a break and she does go broody. She hatched a...

This little guy is the only yellow one.
is a Black Ameraucana x Tetra Tint cross and came out looking like the tetra tint chicks did. He does have a beard but yellow legs?? It will be white when grown, I have read on here that white Easter Eggers are males. What do you all think...
I've got my first pip! How can you be this excited about a cracked egg.
I find myself going in there every few minutes and staring while I listen for peeps.
Wow, Love the list.
We have named only 4 of our chickens:
Schwarz (german for 'black', a Black Ameraucana rooster)
Bubbles (red sexlink hen)
Hot Wings (red sexlink hen)
Sara Fluffybutt (red sexlink hen)
The adult silkie hen and the little mutant chick we got are doing fine. Sad thing is the little silkie chick we got to keep the mutant (named Penny) company didn't make it. It died on Monday night. :-( The little thing just wouldn't eat or drink much. Must have been something wrong and...
Hang in there Lynne. Lets hope that it didn't cool down too much.
My boys(10 & 12 years old) and I candled again and it looks like there are at least 4 more quitters. The red sexlinks x ameraucana cross eggs don't look to be developing either, way to much light shining thorough even...
My temps are giving me problems too. I keep adjusting the thermostat but it keeps fluctuating from 97 - 99 degrees. I think my chicks will hatch late but at least most of them (the ones I can see) are doing well. Floating and wiggling in the eggs.
I have 7 acres and they got bold enough to visit the neighbors yard despite their 2 shelties and leave droppings(Neighbors have 4 acres). So now I have to keep them penned or get some fencing. Neighbor in question particularly hates my 3 guineas. Guess they(neighbors) like the deer ticks...
I'm coming too. I'll be bringing 3 guineas 2 girls & a boy ( Purchased from Lisann (Murano) around May 10th.) I can also bring Dubia Roaches (Chicken Treats) if anyone would be interested. If you want to start your own colony, let me know, I can get some adult females & males for you...
