We got them from tractor supply. They were the specialty breeds, but the hatchery did not mark them, so tractor supply but them all in to one bin at a discounted price.

I have 8 barred rock chicks now 7 weeks old wondering which are roos and hens? A few of them are lighter in color and have a redder comb are these roos?

Here are a few more photos of the black chick. I also attached some photos of one of the two red chicks we have like this and a couple of one of the black chicks that do not have any curl. Are these all cochin just different colors? #1 #2 #3

Do you know if the black cochin will be a frizzle cochin? We have 10 of these a couple have regular feathering and the rest look like their wing feathers are curling outwards.
