well that i cant help you with...as i know where i live ..right now it is so dry..i have to fill all the spots with water add a sponge and a wet towel and i still only have 40% humidity... where you live it will be different from me .. CC

be sure to use chicks that will be (or would of been) white...dark chicks dont show the color very well...

.5 of a cc. and inject as discribed earlier..on a cleaned egg then seal the little hole with wax or nail polish...and yes use regular food coloring is what is used... have fun.. this is not cruel...It was first used to help identify different chicks in lab work...as they can tell chicks apart...

i have a the plastic trays for chickens and quail...i only use the ones for quail....i found the if i used wire and made it into rows (7 rows fit) i can get more eggs in...i fit about 108 black jersy giant eggs per tray x3 trays.....it is cheaper then the plastic trays and you can make it...

well a big THANKS here is what hatched out....i set 41 eggs...candled at day 9 and had had 33 firtile eggs...well we hatched out 32 not bad....I is my first time hatching..so here some pic's of those i needed feed for .. so it's been a happy day CC

you people here are GREAT i am boiling an egg as i type and got vegies out ..will offer a couple things..... Its my fault i should of stopped at the feed store ..but really i kinda forgot about them as well there just there in the bator....I am sure this will get them through the day...i can...

i dont have layer feed ...never had layers before...just MEATYs and well not at this time of year....the thing i have is here is rabbit pellets...was wondering about the pellets crushed up would be ok for a day... `
