    introducing the inlaws

    We are having to adopt 5 laying hens due to the current owners not being able to care for them anymore. We currently have 5 younger laying hens and a rooster. I am just wondering from people who have done it before if there is a certain way they need to be integrated into the new environment?

    Thank you both for the information. I was mainly just wondering what it could be the New Hampshire makes sense I have a hen that looks like one. They all came from a friend and it was a mixed pot sort of deal.

    A creme legbar, a blue splash maran, a partridge rock and a few I'm not sure about.

    This is one of two roosters the other I'm pretty sure is a partridge rock. This I am not sure about. Any ideas? I can add more pictures if needed

    New to the sight from Central CA, also pretty new to having chickens. Right now have 5 chickens and 2 roosters.
