we ended up with 5 roosters in a flock of 40 chickens. I had some getting too aggressive and wearing out my hens. I have them segregated to a smaller pen awaiting the ax. Chicks are too cheap. No predator problems here.

If you have a steamer you can kill them with steam. Heat terminates bedbugs.

We have a neighbors game rooster that has been hanging out with my flock. I had obtained 10 more hens last week. Among the 1 barred Rock hen. Tonight I caught him trying to kill her. He destroyed most of her comb, and kept pecking her head hard. He would of had killed her I not driven him off...
