Are these 10 week light brahma chicks roos? I have 7 light brahmas that look pretty much the same with red combs. They have rounded feathers though. Maybe they aren't older enough for pointed saddle feathers yet? I am a 1st time chicken owner. TIA[/IMG][/IMG]

Thank you, I think I will remove some of them. They are still wet even the ones that hatched last night before 11pm. We seem to have too many to count at this point . I don't know who is having more fun me or my 3 kids. These chicks are a homeschool project for them.

Question: We have several chicks that hatched last night. They still look wet. Yesterday morning I wet our 2 sponges ( they were dry) and the humidity is now 80. I removed one just now but left the other. Do I leave the wet chicks in the bator or can I move them to the warmed brooder to dry?

We have 8 or 9 this morning. It is hard to count them in the bator. They still aren't dry though, my humidity was high at 80 so I quickly removed a sponge. Hopefully my humidity will drop a little soon and they will dry. They should be dry before I move them to the brooder though right? We...
