Just an update.
After appling just one application of scarlett oil, her legs look so smooth and so much better but her feet looked horrible still. I didn't to any pre-wash or scrubbing. So I applied the second coating of scarlett oil on her legs lastnight after soaking her legs in soapy...
1. clean coop / nesting boxes of all liter.
2. wash roost in Linseed Oil / Keroseen mix (mites)
3. Spray coop / nesting boxes in permethrin (mites & lice)
4. Allow to dry.
5. Build Indoor dustbox (raining season here until next june)
6. Fill box with woodstove ashes and DE (Food Grade)

Well she seems to be doing well. I just put some Blue Kote on the wound added Apple Cider vinegar to her water. She has started laying eggs again these last 3 days. I did the second application of Blue Kote on Sunday and her feathers are starting to grow back the wound was pretty deep but...
I've already isolated her. I'm going to add Aple cider Vinegar to her water and go pick up some Wound Kote / Blue Kote at the feed store on the way home from work. I guess I will leave the skin hang and see how it goes.
It seems the rooster got a little over eager and the rest of the flock got at the wound and now there is a large chunk of skin hanging off the back of her neck. Do I cut it off? it' appears dead at this point.
I'm going to stop and get some Blue Kote, Wonder Dust, and some Apple Cinder...
