recently my 5 ladies have been kicking their food out onto the ground. so much that theyre emptying a 15 pound feeder every other day! im wondering....will they eat it off the ground? or do i need to keep filling the feeder?
thanks!
i have a way to separate them during the day but im not sure how to create separate "housing" for the new chicks at night? was thinking i could just turn the trough that they are currently in on it's side?
question: i have 1 hen from my previous flock and am ready to introduce my 4 new chicks outside. im planning on using the see but not touch method but dont know what to do about separate housing at night. any suggestions?
how old should my pullets be before I transfer them to the coop? I have 4 sapphire gems.
