Why does the egg I’m incubating have this weird blood circle?

I'm going to try. My friend has a pair of phoenixes so I'm going to see if I can get an egg or two from them.

Your leo did that?? I've been bitten by my leo a few times and I could barely feel the teeth. Being bit by an anole honestly hurt worse but I guess if it was a bigger leo it would hurt more.

    Incubation advice needed

So for chicken eggs, the temp should be around 100-101 degrees Fahrenheit. The humidity should be from 40%-60% but I usually keep it closer to 40%.

    Incubation advice needed

If you didn't already know, chicks take 3 weeks to incubate and hatch. The hatch date usually fluctuates about 1-2 days before or after the expected hatch date depending on the humidity. Incubation advice needed

You would let it run for a few days just to be sure the temp and humidity don't fluctuate too much and become harmful to the embryos. Personally, I never leave it running for a few days before I put them in and have never had any issues.

Why does the egg I’m incubating have this weird blood circle?

It’s just annoying how people think I’m that dumb to not see the crack that’s obviously there 🙄

Is candling chicken eggs on day 3 too early?

I usually candle my eggs at day 3, 7, and 14. Day 3 I sometimes see little veins but other times I see nothing. Day 7 is when you should see some major veins.

Why does the egg I’m incubating have this weird blood circle?

Oh my gosh why do you even care so much about a crack? I was asking about the blood ring and so far everybody has been focused on crack instead of the blood ring. If I wanted to start a conversation on cracks in eggs I’m incubating, I would’ve posted about that instead. It’s my eggs and I’m...

Why does the egg I’m incubating have this weird blood circle?

Since phoenix’s are exotic and kinda pricey I put it in there anyways. I’m sure though that the crack wasn’t the cause of the blood ring.
