A quick follow-up that TomTom here found a wonderful family with 2 children, 14 hens and a dog. His nickname is cluck-Norris and the kids carry him around everywhere. He couldn't be happier and the family couldn't be happier. The best happy ending ever after

Thank you Cassidy, I found a home for Frick, the wonderful lady that first gave me the eggs to hatch and I kept Frack and love him dearly. His little gal is a buff silkie named Honey and they toodle around everywhere together.

I can sleep at night knowing that any gaps in my coop are covered with 19 guage 1/2" mesh. We had a small mouse try to get in and got his body stuck. Most sites recommend the half inch mesh and we have used it on the coops and the pen
