Update: Okay, I tried duck for the first time tonight. Personally, I did not care for it. Neither did my wife, but my teenager liked it. I would choose chicken over duck. Duck had too much gamey taste, but not like venison which has a gamey taste I like. In the end I went with my own way...

If I did build a duck house and run, would the ducks go into it at night like chickens return before dark to their coop? If I had them on the pond, how would I get them to go into the duck run to be locked up safe and sound at night? Man, chickens seem so much easier to deal with.
