    Genetics for dummies?!

Hello all, I'm trying to figure out and dissect a project before starting. I run into conflicting information regarding creating citron and citron spangled. I find some refer to the cream gene (ig) to dilute and create the pale citron color. I then come across others that use the lavender...

Chocolate Serama Breeders - dun and blue can be included here as well

Chocolate Serama Breeders - dun and blue can be included here as well

Updated pics of my little "Mauve" pullet. I've been told by many she was not mauve as a chick but I'm sticking to my guns that she is mauve. The blue is very obvious at 4 months. I'm curious if she's so heavy on the chocolate because her mother was a "midnight blue"? Thoughts?

    ARKANSAS Chicken or Eggs SWAP

Good morning everyone, I recently acquired a beautiful flock of German Line New Hampshire Reds from 202Roosterlane. I love these birds... They're simply stunning. Unfortunately however, my neighbors are giving me a hard time over the rooster being "too loud". I want to co-exist with my...

Oh they're gorgeous!!!! Well done. Here's some pics I just took outdoors to show some better lighting. I'm also including the parents. This is my first Mauve so I have zero experience. I just know that Chocolate x Blue = Mauve. LOL
