What I was hoping was this. I would leave the Muscovy in the same run as the Khaki Campbells. From eggs size, I could collect the Khaki Campbell eggs for the incubator and either collect the Muscovy eggs for eating, or once they want to set, leave them for the duck to hatch. But I don't want...

I just brought Muscovy home this evening. They guy I bought them from said they can be kept with other breeds of ducks and won't "interbreed". Can anybody confirm this for me? That sure would save tying up a whole extra coop to keep breeds separate.

Oh, I know all of the above. In the future, I will have nest boxes and pull any eggs that aren't in a nest box. But like you said....too late this time. Should I just leave the ones that have already hatched with the mothers's though?
