I had a GQF 5200 Sportsman and hatched a lot of chicken eggs. But when I started getting into ducks, I couldn't hatch a duck egg to save my life. I just never could get the humidity levels anywhere near where they needed to be. I finely gave up and sold the Sportsman. This winter the Bug hit me...
What I was hoping was this. I would leave the Muscovy in the same run as the Khaki Campbells. From eggs size, I could collect the Khaki Campbell eggs for the incubator and either collect the Muscovy eggs for eating, or once they want to set, leave them for the duck to hatch. But I don't want...
I just brought Muscovy home this evening. They guy I bought them from said they can be kept with other breeds of ducks and won't "interbreed". Can anybody confirm this for me? That sure would save tying up a whole extra coop to keep breeds separate.

I have stayed out of the coop as much as possible because there is a duck in every corner sitting on a clutch. There are way more eggs than they can all cover, and several clutches have multiple ducks sitting on them. I am going to have ducklings coming out my ears! lol....be...
Help! lol.....I have 5 Ancona mommas all sitting on a clutch at the same time. I have always bought peeps, or incubated my own chickens and I am new to ducks. How do I feed the ducklings when they hatch? I would like to leave them with their mothers in the run if possible instead of removing...
