I have a new phone an LG Android. Just down loaded the mobile app for BYC and it is working fine. Check and see if you guys logged in your email in the app section of your phone to give permission to use the app. I had to do that for it to recognize and allow me to use anything.

An update on Milkshake the hen with the eggbound problem..... She had the same thing 3 more times back to back and I helped her through it as before but the last time she passed away before I could try to help her. She was so sweet. I think she was a lot older than I was told. Miss her a lot.

My last Hen I had to use my finger to separate the bad egg from the walls, because it had adhered itself to the walls, pull it and literally roll her inside out a bit to grasp it and pull it out. She is doing great now. It didn't even have a hard shell on It either.

Use a rubber glove water base lubricant and a syringe with NO. needle. Squirt a full syringe of lube into her cloacal opening. Soakher in a warm bath for about 30 minutes. Give her a minute or two and you may have to use your finger to help it out. If she is clucking kinda like a dog barking...

Omg she sounds like she is egg bound. Gotta get the egg out or she will die. ASAP! I had 2 that did this last week

I made her drink electrolytes with vitamins with honey and probiotics. She even drank on her own.

Also I have another chick a cherry Eggers that is 3 weeks old she has stopped eating still drinking but her craw is empty and she has stopped growing. She is so thin and small now . no apparent reason.

I have a 2 month old Golden laced wyandotte both eyes are swollen shut and gooey she eats and drinks when i help her find food. Could it ne eye worms? Out of 150 chickens she is the only one. Have her inside now. Got Vet RX last night put it in the water. Can i put iy directly in the eyes?
