My chickens have an agreement with the local squirrels. The squirrels eat the large items in the bird feeder then dump the rest for my chickens, they love the corn. The poor birds get left out. 😒

Rooster: "Did you hear that?" Hen: "For the 15th time Jimmy, it's the leaves crunching."
