  2. The inside- The nesting boxes are not quite done but in 24 hours the 9 hens laid 8 eggs so I would say they like them. Our roost is WAY to high and the run is not yet done to let the chickens out so we can work in there so we are using the bench as a temporary roost.

    Our coop is a work in progress, it is made out of a recycled Garage door. The beauty of using the garage door is it is insulated and water proof. The coop measures 10 ft by 5 ft by 4 ft.     Post your FIRST EGG pics!

    I just brought home my first hens yesterday at lunch time, we got 9 hens. 24 Hours later and we have already got 8 eggs :)
