Well just this year I started with 13 chickens...lost 3 of them to my dog and 2 were roosters so I'm down to 8 now. I have 6 newly hatched chicks though from my flock plus 6 more on the way so pretty soon I'll be at 20!! 50 is a lot but I think I'm on my way!!! :)
