Hmm, still no eggs. My hens are over twenty weeks now. Does anyone have a picture of a healthy vent of a laying and or not laying hen. Penny is very nice. She seems to want to learn to drive.If you do decide to let her drive she needs the driver's safty class. Otherwise I bet your insurance rates will go up.

Congrats to your undivided house! My chicken girls are blending better too. All four are out of their safe place and the older girls have almost accepted them as part of the flock.At feeding time the older girls are first and don't let the littles in. The littles just head back to their safe...

I would like to hear more about the cornish/ cornish cross specifically about the breeding /egg laying possibilities. Can anyone add more advice or personal experience stories. This is very interesting given the breed. Thank you to all the friendly chicken folks!
