all great ideas main thing is to have water there and second is clean as there will be some days that the water won't be checked till later in the day but will be checked or fresh in the am. Will try this heated waterer i wish i had asked on here first before i bought it and see what happens...

Farm inivators 100 watt heater

So what are the complaints about using the heated wateres? Cost? Too expensive to use? It's gonna be my first winter with chickens i don't really want to use a wall heater to heat the coop.I bought a heated water dish to keep water from freezing. Temps get down around -20c to -30c in winter...

We're having a hot spell here not normal for us they seem fine in the brooder at about 29c

Ya I have two thermometers one in the coop and the other in the run there both close to 95 during the day

My chick's are almost 4 weeks old the weather here is 90-95 during the day and still 65-70 at night. No need for light as in the brooder as never drops below 70 they seem fine with out it.Is it ok to put them in the coop and have them outside already?
