I think he got fertilized eggs 1st & hatched them out... He then started breeding them... He hatched about 100 birds this year... I happened to get 4 of the youngest from his preferred breeding stock.... I should be getting 2 more from his next batch of chicks after they're old enough...

I've got 4 brahmas... 2 of them are sneezing I think... It's like a high pitched achewwww... Is there any cause to this or of they just have a cold... I've heard that they can get sick if there's too much dust in the coop... I'm new to raising chickens so I'm just trying to figure it out... I...

I have 2 hens sneezing... They're appetites are normal but I'm just wondering if it's from the coop or what ? I've got 1 hen making a weird chick noise on the roost... It's a subtle high pitched chick noise but it's not loud at all kinda quite like she's in pain or something... I'm new to...

Thanks.... They started laying again... They stopped laying the last week of August but the weather finally cooled off a bit & they seem to be doing better... I'm feeding pellets but they don't seem to like them much... I bring them a snack in the evening & they come running like they haven't...
