My family and I live in upstate NY where winter usually lasts a good 6 to 7 months of the year. We live on three acres of land out in a heavily wooded area. We love it out here and are new to raising chickens. We have six chickens who free range in the day when we are home. We also have a corgi dog who unfortunately is very jealous of the chickens! This site has been so helpful and I'm glad to be a member!
