Why should goose eggs from geese under two years old not be hatched? Someone told me this.

I have some full grown muscovy ducks. I feed my chickens nutrena naturewise layer and feather fixer mix. Should I feed the ducks all flock or feather fixer? They both have 18% protein. My ducks are for eggs not meat.

I just got 3 female and 1 male muscovy. They are laying. How big/ what type of nesting box do they need?

Thanks RR. I have full size hens laying so she knows where to go (if it is a she). The sizzle is not the dominant rooster in my flock. I have an older full size bcm.

I have a little sizzle rooster that is just coming into his prime. He's about 6 months. I have two of his hatch mates I'm not sure on sex still (they are bantam). I clearly saw him try go mount one of the two. So does that mean that one if for sure a girl?

Good you are planning to purchase more hens. One on one with hen and rooster is not a good thing for the hen.

Do you only have one hen?

You said it yourself, there is a chance she will always be a carrier depending on what she had. That means she can always get other hens sick, forever.
