Yesterday I drove into my driveway and was greeted with piles of feathers and the bodies of several of my chickens. I am devastated! I have had my girls for two years and they are wonderful! About a week before I saw a large pile of dog excrement in the pasture to the side of the chicken house...

I love to hear others' stories about snake eating chickens! My girls do get to "free range" whenever someone is home. They have probably killed and eaten snakes before that I haven't seen...when they are down at the barn I cant always see what's going on.
