OMG yes,, this is new to me, never seen it before, was not sure if something was wrong with my chicks,, lol. So it is kinda normal then?

I'm guessing no one has had newly hatched chicks in an incubator lose lots of hair? lol They all seem healthy and happy,,, but lots of hair in the bator, moved 6 so far to brooder, ,have 4 more in bator hatched, waiting till they dry then moving them to brooder,,,

Not sure if I am explaining this, I know they are not feathers yet, this is probably about my 5th or 6th time now hatching in my incubator,, but this is the first time I have actually seen tiny hairs all over in my incubator,, I could take a picture but you won't be able to see it with my crappy...

Just an update,, new mama and babies are doing great. They are so cute to watch,, Unfortunately I had to cull a newly hatched chick, I did lot's of research on here and discovered that it spent too long in it's shell and somehow the head hand grown/infused or something with it down, like how...

I had to go back to the beginning of this thread to re read how long to keep her and the chicks locked up. I'm so anxious for her to get her butt up off them so I can see them, lol. I need more patience,,,,, ugh the waiting
