Rabbits are like any other animal.. If they aren't used to something, they will get an upset stomach.. I know a lot of people that say hay is the cornerstone of a rabbit's diet.. Commercial meat producers use a lot of commercial rabbit feed to get their rabbits up to the necessary butcher size...

I work part time at a goat farm and they have a gelded donkey as their livestock guardian.. He's a really sweet guy.. Will back up to you to get his butt scratched.. Scares you at first when he does that.. He's not around baby goats since they hand raise though.. He's so gentle that my 4 yr old...

Saanens are a large breed and give a lot of milk.. The ones I've known are very greedy eaters but do just fine with free choice hay and a scoop of grain each.. A milking doe does have to be milked every day, but if you still have nursing kids you can leave them on her if you just can't get to...

I plan on using wire cages hung on t-posts with the notches.. I also plan on putting pans under them that are angled toward the back or one side where there will be bins or a trough to collect the poo.. I've never eaten rabbit (yet) so can't say what it tastes like..

I will be owned by three American Chinchillas by the end of the month.. One will hopefully be bred so in two months I may have many more..
