They shouldn’t be mallards, mallards are protected are require permits to own/sell. So they are either mis informed or illegally selling mallards lol.

Mallards require permits to own/sell as they are migratory birds and protected my federal law (assume you are in the states… not sure about anywhere else lol!) most likely a Rouen then, they get between 9-10lbs while Perkins can get a little bigger so no need to worry! She looks healthy and happy!
