Just adding a vote for the Omlet doors. We installed one on our pop door in Central VT 2 years ago and it’s been fantastic so far. Edited to add that it opens into a contained run; the door to their outdoor fenced-in yard is still manual.

It's nearby but I haven't been there yet myself. A friend got several silkie pullets from Sugar Feather and some day-old chicks that her daughter's class hatched. She had nothing but great things to say about it.
That's good to know, thank you! We've got three 6-week-old Easter Eggers and the hackles are really starting to become noticeable on two of them, including this gal. The EEs have so much more personality than our Orpingtons, I'd be sad to see them go.
One more: this bird does not appreciate it when I try to take photos. EE at 5 weeks in the closeup, 6 weeks in the other photos. Please break my heart gently. Those are pointed hackle feathers, no? And some splotchy rust colored patches?
