HELP! Chick pipped and zipped 6am. Coming home at 5pm, he's still in the egg. I had to help him get out. I noticed he has a bulge on the left side of his neck and he stays on the side of his body. Will it get better or does he have a tumor and i should end his suffering?

Do you live up north? I'm in the south so it's already humid from where I'm at. I did 60-65% with my ducks and only 1 survived. I handled the others that went into lockdown and their air sac was still small so I'm pretty sure they drowned.

Pipped 2 days ago. Zero progress with zipping. Helped by removing hard shell and some white membrane (kept clear membrane intact). Zero blood. He was basically done but... When he finally pulled the rest of the membrane off by himself, his tummy is bloated and his umbilical cord wasn't closed...
