They are all very cute!!! The Serama obsession takes over quickly! I got my first Serama 5 months ago & now I've got 2 trios + a hen sitting on 11 eggs....It's never enough lol :)

I just have to share because nobody understands egg excitement better than BYC friends.... Our very first little Serama egg! I wasn't expecting anything until Spring! We moved them to a run new yesterday & this morning I found the egg! I guess she likes it!

I gave my hen oregano oil when she was sick, it's a nice natural antibiotic that even has been proven effective against bumble foot too, according to a study I read :)

We had our first 4-H meeting tonight. I don't know if we will ever be poultry experts, but I suspect this is going to be a fun journey to take the flock on :)

From what I've read (I don't have any 1st hand experience) it seems like infection is a major concern when that happens. I would definitely separate her if you have not already done so. Good luck with her. I know if she passes it'll be a loss.
