Day 26 duck egg dead? I can see the air sac clearly and there is a strange blue dot visible on the side.

I have an ancona duck egg in the incubator. One died already and the remaining egg looks strange on day 26. You can see the outline of the air sac just looking at the egg and it hasnt been shaking or peeping at all:/

Yep he was fine, i washed out his mouth with an eye dropper and he had a blue beak for a while but aside from that, it didnt harm him at all

If you hatch and raise them they will consider you to be their mother:)

Im using a foam incubator thanks so much that helps a lot

My ancona duckling hatched 5 hours ago and her belly had a doughnut shaped thing with blood coming out where she absorbed her yolk it has stopped bleeding but now it seems open and has not fully closed yet

Turns out there was only one the other embryo mysteriously disapeared

Pax they are both moving and peeping
