I just found 27 eggs in a bail of hay. I have no idea how old they are. At the moment I have no broody hens. So we are going to build a brooder and hatch them ourselves. My question is what is the right temperature to keep the eggs?

That's what our eggs looked like when young chickens first start laying. Do you have some young pullets. Most of our chickens are new so we have had allot of eggs like that.

my daughter said I could learn a lot here so I decided to see what is up. I live near Yelm Washington and we have 13 chickens.
