    Bugs Bugs and More Bugs

We are using a fan, but still the skeeters. Could not find stall dry or Sweet PDZ (Any ideas?) and did buy a zapper last night and that helped a bit. They are so bad this round. Not enough fogging to go around! Thanks Laura

Thank you so much...Having hubby check right now. Of course, he does not think it is damp...it is. Why else would there be 700 million skeeters! I am ready to try anything! Will let you know if it helps!

    Bugs and Birds

My hubby thinks that they used to have small zappers in their coops. But I thought I had read how that does not work very well...at this point though anything would be great. My hubby was a chicken farmer growing up with huge barns. Maybe this will work.

OHio ~ Come on Buckeyes, let me know your out there!

Hi All... I am in Marion County near Green Camp. We have 14 or so Guineas and 27 or so Chickens! But none of my birds are laying right now. We had a flock of 25 guineas...lost quite a few to the coons...all of my hens! So we have re-stocked from Ridgeway also!

My biggest problem is the coop and the fact that I am pregnant so I have to be careful. I have no idea why my coop has...

Any suggestions: I've lost all but 7 of my chickens (out of nearly 60)

I had a big coon problem in the early summer we found that we had to keep moving the trap or the coons would just roll it over and steal the food. Thanks for the marshmellow tip. Had no idea about that. We use anything strong smelling.

CATS ARE THEY A FRET TO CHICKEN'S ?

I have 5 barn cats that are very tame...and they hang with my brood. I have one that even has chased chicks back to the coop whn they have escaped. Blue keeps a good eye on them!
