Hi everyone! I have EE’s that are almost 11 weeks old. I was wondering if this white one is a rooster with those tail feathers? Also the black ones tail feathers are looking suspicious. I’m just confused because they don’t have a comb. Two of their hatch mates grew combs weeks ago and we gave...
Hi all! So this white chicken, my kids named Frosting, is my absolute favorite. Frosting is so sweet and 6 weeks old. I believed it to be a hen but the tail feathers are worrying me. She has absolutely no comb you can see in one of the pictures the comb one of her rooster hatch mates has. What...

From cal ranch. I believe they got them from Hoovers. But when I asked two different employees if the chicks were pullets they both said they weren’t sure and they think they’re supposed to be 🤷🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
I picked up a barred rock chick today from cal ranch. My kids favorite chicken was a barred rock so I promised we’d get one. I only got one but now I’m worried it could be a roo, which we cannot keep. Can anyone tell by the spot on its head?
