Hi I live in the Karoo, near Barrydale and im also new to chickens. I would like to get more chickens, but it is not easy as most breeders live in Joburg area. i have Potch Koekoeks and Rhode Island Reds. At the moment I also have broilers, but it is not so easy to bring them up in this heat.
